Forest Floor Blanket in Rust

This woven rust cotton throw captures the natural beauty of an undisturbed forest floor. Beginning as an original artwork, I brought the 2-D print to life in recycled cotton, woven in Lancashire. This large botanical throw is hand finished with a blanket-stitched border and brushed for a soft, fleece-like feel.

Sketched from nature, carved into wood, then hand-printed onto paper, before being faithfully translated for weaving. Fallen leaves interweave with berries and ferns in a rich rust palette.
