Advent Wreath

The starting point for this hanging advent calendar wreath is my linocut Larch and Berry, inspired by a favourite hillside walk near her home in north-east Scotland. The stony track climbing through woodland is littered with larch branches, invariably festooned with chalky green lichens, while scarlet rowan berries make a glowing contrast against dark conifers. These, along with soft feathers gathered along the way, are scattered through the circular design.

Behind each of the 25 windows is a small watercolour, painted especially for the wreath — I won't give away what they are.

The wreath is 305mm x 305mm.

It comes with ribbon for hanging, and is packed flat with an envelope for posting, or for storing safely from year to year.
