Cultivated Colour
My most recent solo exhibition at The Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh, Cultivated Colour, closed 24 October 2026. Over the years the distance between my garden and studio has narrowed, and these paintings follow the year as it unfolds there – from the earliest snowdrops, through tulips in the polytunnel, to agapanthus and dahlias still flowering into autumn. Indoor pelargoniums, many passed on by friends, bring colour and fragrance into the darker months.
Although the exhibition has now ended, the remaining paintings are still available from the gallery for a limited time. All prices shown are for the framed works. To purchase, or for other enquiries, please contact The Scottish Gallery.
